Enforce Strong Password Policies
Security starts with strong authentication, and CompleteFTP empowers administrators to enforce robust password policies for non-Windows users. This helps protect against unauthorized access and ensures compliance with organizational security standards.
Customizable Password Requirements
CompleteFTP allows you to define various password complexity requirements, including:
- Minimum Length: Set a minimum number of characters for passwords.
- Mixed Case: Require both uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Digits: Mandate the inclusion of numeric characters.
- Special Characters: Enforce the use of symbols.
- Password Expiry: Configure passwords to expire after a set number of days, prompting users to create new ones.
- Forced Password Changes: Require users to change their password upon next login.
User Convenience and Security
For users who have forgotten their password, CompleteFTP (Professional and Enterprise MFT editions) offers a secure Forgot/Reset Password feature for web-based logins (HTTP/HTTPS). This allows users to regain access to their accounts without administrative intervention, provided their email address is registered and the feature is enabled.
